Alfio C. Tognocchi, CPA | Biography

Alfio Tognocchi worked for Arthur Andersen in their Chicago office for 12 years and four years with KPMG as a tax partner in their Dallas and Houston offices. He was the partner-in-charge of KPMG’s international executive services practice in Houston and a tax manager on the Abbott international assignment program at Arthur Andersen.

During his extensive career, Alfio has specialized in rendering tax compliance, financial planning and consulting services, to various levels of individuals, executives and companies. One of Alfio’s key responsibilities with both Arthur Andersen and KPMG was the coordination of global tax services with the objective of minimizing the overall cost associated with an international program. In addition, he has consulted with management and individuals in designing effective and efficient compensation and management policies to minimize overall tax costs.

In addition, Blockowicz & Tognocchi (“B&T”) has been a preferred tax service provider at Abbott Labs and Abbvie for over eight years. B&T currently has over 25 current or former Abbott and Abbvie executives as clients. B&T is very familiar with the various Abbott corporate equity programs and retirement plans.
